Description

Detailed info

The JIC Gene Trap (FGT) collection was produced at the John Innes Centre as part of the Exon Trapping Insert Consortium (EXOTIC) program (EU project number: QLG2-1999-00351). The collection was generated by the mobilisation of a gene-Trap Ds transposable element carrying Kanamycin selection. The population provides a resource of loss-of-function mutations gene expression patterns via translational fusions with the reporter gene, GUS. For further information see Sundaresan et al. (1995).

Finding your JIC Gene Trap line

Note: The line name may be in a number of different formats. For example GT_5_108910 and GT.108910 refer to the same line. The important identifier is the final long string of numbers in each case.
