mutant gf allele not transmitted through the female gamete resulting in non-Mendelian segregation, inherited relatively normally through the pollen, reduced recombination in vicinity of gf in the female resulting in abnormal segregation ratios of linked markers; linked markers of this stock are long hypocotyl, asymmetric leaves, pyrimidine requiring (gf hy as/py); plants carrying gf have ca. 62 percent seed-set; gf maintained as heterozygote, all loci segregating.
