Chromosome 4 & 5 YAC Contigs

This page, and those linked to it, contain the data of Schmidt et al. for the physical maps of chromosomes 4 and 5 of Arabidopsis thaliana.

The information is presented both as images and as data files. In addition, it can be viewed either directly, using your Web browser (such as Netscape), or as downloadable files. These allow you to view the complete image files at your leisure -- using a program such as GIFConverter -- and sort and search the original data-files using Excel on a Mac. If you don't have Excel, you can view the files and then use the "Save as... text" command or similar to download them. These should be importable into most spreadsheet programs on most platforms.

The minimum tiling path data were originally prepared for the WWW by Mary Anderson.
