Phenotype
Resistant to inhibition of root and hypocotyl elongation and stimulation of lateral root growth by auxin. Smaller leaves, shorter petioles, fewer lateral branches on primary shoot but greater number of shoots compared to wild type. Decreased root gravitropism. Decreased hypocotyl phototropism and gravitropism. Reduced auxin-induced gene expression.
