After collection, the lineage was maintained in the Konstanz Botanical Garden (Germany). Seeds submitted to the ABRC are from an isolate that was inbred for six generations in a greenhouse at the Boyce Thompson Institute (Ithaca, NY, USA). Seeds have been stored successfully for longer than 2 years at 4 C, but long-term viability is unknown.
