Phenotype
defective in the induction of ethylene biosynthesis by cytokinin; lacks the ethylene-mediated triple response in the presence of cytokinin; disrupted ethylene biosynthesis in multiple conditions; pleiotropic effects in response to cytokinin: reduced anthocyanin content, shorter siliques than wt and somewhat club-shaped; reduced chlorophyll content in leaves.
