Phenotype
Virescent mutant phenotype; decreased photosynthetic activity and pale green leaves, especially in younger leaves. Strong growth retardation. Large, rounded chloroplasts, intactness compromised. Plastids appear to be swollen with disorganized thylakoid membranes and low abundance and reduced size of starch granules.
