The full legth PIF1 sequence without stop codon and the 3 kb upstream of the ATG start codon were amplified via PCR from genomic DNA and cloned into a Gateway entry vector. LR reaction into binary vector pGWB16 was performed and Col plants were transformed via floral dip. Kanamycin and hygromycin resistant. Homozygous for the transgene.
