RNA interference
an overview for the research scientist

This website aims to give an overview of the field of RNA interference (RNAi), with particular relevance to plant science. It will give an introduction to the technique, as well as describe the mechanism by which the technique works. It will then delve into the various applications that this technique for gene silencing can have. It will also look at other forms of gene silencing in plants. Details of suppliers of chemicals and probes for use in RNAi will also be given.
