Yet again the N933 strain germinated the most seeds, when on the 3 rd day of the experiment 18 of the seeds had germinated. However the number of germinated seedlings rose above 20 (the number of seeds that were sown) by germinating 29 seeds by day 6. The reason being in one of the replicates of the experiment up to 50 seeds germinated. This was clearly experimental error and as such the condition was repeated a week later (see below)

No significant results were obtained from this condition, in part due to the fact that one of the replicates of the N933 strain had too many seeds sown. With the other strains only the N1601 variety came close to the significance value of 0.05 with 0.187. Due to the insignificance of these results, as stated above it decide to re-do this condition in the hope that it was experimental error that led to these results as opposed to the changing stratification conditions.
