All the ecotypes started germinating by the 3 rd day, where the N933 strain germinated the most seeds, N20 the second most and N1601 the least with 10, 8 and 6 seeds germinating respectively. However this is still less than the mean number of seeds germinated under the first condition where 12 had germinated by day 3. However The N933 ecotype developed into true leaves quicker than it did under the first condition. In the first condition it took 8 days before any true leaves had developed, however under this condition it took only 7 days.

Again the N1601 strain neared the p value cut off point of 0.05 but was still not statistically significant. The N20 strain performed better than it did under the previous condition 6 but still had a high p value of 0.78.
