Germplasm Info
Mutagen: T-DNA Insertion
Background: Columbia (gl1)
Segregation status: homozygous
Marker used: Kanamycin segregation Resistant:Senstive(Kan R)
Segregation: No
Transformation method: The reporter gene construct AIR1 was introduced into the parent line AIR1-8 by means of a root cocultivation method using Agrobacterium tumefaciens (see reference for details).
Phenotype
Auxin induced kanamycin/GUS reporter line. Plants contain a T-DNA construct in which the promoter of an auxin-inducible glutathione S-transferase (GST) gene from tobacco has been fused to the kanamycin resistance gene (nptII) as well as to the b-glucuronidase (gusA) reporter gene. Used as a background for mutagenesis/selection of auxin related genes.
