Phenotype
ap1-1 cal-1 double mutant phenotype (massive over-proliferation of inflorescence-like meristems, leading to a cauliflower-like appearance; delayed flowering and abnormal flowers lacking sepals and petals). Activation of the AP1-GR fusion protein by a single dexamethasone treatment induces synchronous flower development and rescues the organ identity defects of the ap1-1 cal-1 mutant flowers.
