Description

Collection of 298 accessions sampled from six different local populations in the Iberian Peninsula for within and between populations studies of A. thaliana diversity. Samples were collected randomly in six local populations selected to represent mountain (AGU and CAI), continental (MAR and MDC) and coastal (BON and POB) Mediterranean climates. We haphazardly collected seeds from 45-53 individuals across each population ranging between 5.9 and 7.4 hectares. Location of individuals was georeferenced and their general microhabitat has been characterized. Genome sequences of the 298 accessions is available at NCBI SRA under the BioProject number PRJNA998580.
