Description: This subpool (CS99347) consists of 90 independent transformants expressing artificial microRNAs (amiRNAs) designed to target homologous, possibly functionally redundant genes in forward genetic screens; represents a subpool of TEC amiRNA pool N99431. Note that the larger pool N99431 is recommended for forward genetic screening of many lines. Generated by transforming Col-0 plants with a combination of 20bp and 21bp amiRNA libraries (CD4-62 and CD4-72, respectively) in p35S::amiRNA3 OCS (pPHANTOM vector) targeting transcripts encoding metabolic and other enzymes catalyzing transfer reactions (EC: 2) (TEC); protein family member functional classes: CHO metabolism, glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, TCA cycle, amino acid metabolism, secondary metabolism, hormone metabolism, transferases, lipid metabolism (Mapman); transferase activity (GO:0016740). Basta resistant.
