NASC Stock Detail Page
NASC ID: N69081
Name: leb-1 GFP-h
ABRC stock number: CS69081
Description: leb-1 is a long ER body mutant isolated from EMS-mutagenized GFP-h plants. GFP-h is an Arabidopsis (ecotype Col) transformed with a pro35S:SP-GFP-HDEL gene encoding SP-GFP-HDEL, which is composed of the signal peptide of pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima) 2S albumin, and GFP followed by a 12 amino-acid sequence including an ER-retention signal, HDEL. The construct was inserted into the pBI121 binary vector. Homozygous for the mutation. Homozygous for the transgene.

Phenotype
The amounts of the PYK10 protein were decreased in the leb-1 mutant. The leb-1 mutant has larger and fewer ER bodies.
